You must be referring to what we do on phpbb.com. I guess the reason for that is because we encourage users to subscribe to that forum and user replies would trigger unneeded notifications. Obviously don't need that here

I think the default restrictions for the NRU group are pretty solid as a whole. The Moderation Queue is not used by default though so if you want to control what those users are able to post and you're OK with having to approve new posts for users in that group you'll need to change that group's for...

No worries, thanks for asking. Just FYI though there is also an edit time limit set. After an hour posts become un-editable.

Well if you're not going to spam then great! But the scenario where a post is made and some time later that "user" comes back to edit their posts and replace the contents with spam is something that happens all the time and is just another tactic spammers use to circumvent the filters that...

1. It's a suspicious post which most times indicates you're coming back to edit and create spam.

This is a MOD, which are no longer supported by the current version of phpBB. The MODs section is, therefore, now locked.

As long as you provide the hosting, yes. If you don't have a hosting plan you can get that from GoDaddy, ICDSoft, or a ton of other hosting providers.

Well you saw the list since you mentioned basic installation so you should already be aware that it's $50 for a basic forum installation and not $10.

Futures? Do you mean Support? None of the options include continued support. It is all a one time service. Anything else beyond that will have additional cost included as per the rates table.

It'll have a few new features, but not everything we were planning. The big one we had to push off for a future release being the new style.
