Final question of the night regarding mods I promise, but I have been finding that my users don't like to give exact birth date information. Is there any way I could just make this field a year so people would be more comfortable?

You would have to modify how birthdays are handled throughout phpBB, something that is beyond the scope of this MOD.

Hey DavidIQ
Is there any way to set the minimum Age to 18?
If a User enters eg 1 September 1995 as birthyear, the user cant register?
Best regards
JJohn

There is but that's also outside of the scope of this MOD (I don't want to add more complication to an otherwise very simple MOD). I would suggest you post a request for that here:

Thanks.

This is a MOD, which are no longer supported by the current version of phpBB. The MODs section is, therefore, now locked.
