OK.. The back end administration appears to be working. But I do not see the Add an Attachment on the front end when trying to do a new post.

Thanks,
Jim

Check your posting.php and posting_body.tpl edits. May have missed something.

DavidIQ,

Thanks for the help. I am using the premodified_files_phpbb2021 files and re-uploaded those files to the what I think are the proper directories. Still no worky. Am I having an issue with other files too?

Thanks,
Jim

Are you using subSilver as your template? If not you'll need to look at the group of stickies in this forum as you'll need to edit your template manually.

How about permissions? Did you change the forum permissions to allow attachments?

Where do I change that?

Under Forum Permissions Control
There are two blank fields next to Poll Create, is this part of the problem?
They have no titles, but options underneath of them
Thanks,
Jim

You must not have uploaded the files to the right locations or didn't replace the files when you uploaded. None of this should be happening if you're using the premodified files. Where did you get them from?

I'm just not getting how you could be having all these problems with the premodified files. Those files have been tested time and time again so they're pretty solid. What upload method are you using?

My hosting company is Bluehost.com and I am using built in FTP tool the to cPanel called UnlimitedFTP. I am using the ASCII selection versus Binary.

Should I try another FTP tool?

Thanks for all your help.

Yes. Try SmartFTP or FileZilla. They're both free.

Fixed it... At least this part of it.

Re uploaded most of the pre-mod files then it began to work.

Kinda a shotgun fix.
